Diabetes in Children and How to Prevent?

Diabetes is a kind of condition which decreased the secretion of insulin by pancreas and it can be known as Diabetes Mellitus. There was a speedy increase in the number of diabetes cases found in children and it turned out to be a common occurrence in children.

People who exercise often are at a lower risk of getting diabetes as compared to people who rarely or do not exercise. Regular workout exercises help to enhance blood circulation and increase the body’s ability to produce and take in insulin.

Food that is rich in antioxidants

Brightly colored fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants that help to improve the immune system. They also play a part in helping to prevent all sorts of illnesses.

Legumes

Legumes are useful in preventing diabetes and it should be consumed frequently.

Start substituting food items

It will be great if you are able to make certain food replacement in your diet. For instance, you could replace chips with fruits, sugary drinks with plain water or you could even replace ice cream with a cup of yogurt.
